A Year of Thanks During Uncertain Times

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I thought it would be appropriate to take a moment and express my gratitude for all my blessings this year. While it’s true that this year has been particularly challenging, there are still many things to be thankful for.

My Family

This year has brought many changes to my family, but I am so thankful to still have them in my life. My son is back in college and doing well. Although my parents are older and unable to care for themselves as they should, I was blessed with the opportunity to welcome them into my home and spend more time with them. Most of all I am thankful for the unconditional love and support my wife provides in every aspect of my life and dreams.

My Home

A couple of years ago my wife and I closed on a beautiful home. This home is not only where we live, but it has become a place where our lives have grown. This home opened us up to the opportunity of having a Warner Brothers show filmed here where we met amazing and talented people. It is also the place where we welcome all of our friends, family, talented musicians and artists, and continue to offer inspiration, hope, and support to all those who seek.

My Art

While many around the world have felt the pangs of financial insecurity, my wife and I have been able to maintain our expenses and still pursue our dreams. The extra time at home has allowed me to focus more on my art and music and push even further towards making art my only profession. This year I’ve begun work on a new album and launched a show on YouTube highlighting my expertise, experience, and music for the world to see.

So as you can see, life hasn’t been all bad this year. I think if we take the time to take inventory of all the good we have in our lives, maybe 2020 wouldn’t look so bad after all.

“When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.”
